Coast Spa doesn't honor warranty
Feb 22, 2008
Coast Spas complaint by Je223
Coast Spa recalled one model of pump motors that had a possibility of fire. Mine was one of them. I was told the motor would be replaced in 3 months, until then drain and do not use the spa. The pump came in and I was charged $50 to replace it. I paid it with much complaining. Then my topside controller quit working. I was told I could buy a new one and they would send the old one back. When the old one is replaced I would be credited. I paid $281 and installed it myself. 4 months later and all I get is "we haven't heard from Coast Spa yet". I contacted Coast directly and so far have recieved nothing. $10,000 Tub with 5yr warranty. I don't blame just Coast I also blame my dealer, Spa and Billiard World in Albuquerque. Warranty with no service is worthless.
