We purchased our spa in Oct 2015. Absolutely no complaints with it until March 2016.

During a water change we found cracking along the outer edge of the spa. Our dealer, whom is wonderful, decided to take it upon themselves to replace the spa on their own as they felt we would not be happy with its appearance afterwards. Apparently Coast had told them to repair the cracking and, according to our dealer, Coast had little concern about how it may look after it was repaired. It was a textured finish.

Coast has a lifetime shell warranty however, we soon found out it is for structural only and not finish.

The replacement tub was delivered on June 1 2016. It is a new model year and there were a number of changes. The first tub had lighted corners as does the new one. The difference being the new corners have an opaque insert behind them to create a back lit theme.

The first thing I noticed is that the opaque pieces were seperating from the corners. The adhesive holding them has let go and this has opened up an area for insects, rain, dust, and debris to enter into the cavitity. In order to fix this problem the 4 sides and 4 corners will have to be removed. The corners will be need to be taken to shop, pieces reattached & clamped, and brought back to our place in a couple of days to be reinstalled.

I have went down to the dealer and can honestly tell you that there is not one tub on their floor which has these corners not seperating. The new cabinet design is is something that looks like it was thrown together at the last minute. The access panel clips in place on one side but totally misses the clips on the other. One side is buckling out.

It has a photo sensor on access panel for corner lights. There is supposed to be a plug set so it can be unplugged and moved aside. There is no plug. Skimmer grate clips tight on one side however, the other side does not.

The reason being is the one side has its post, that the clip attaches to, set back a 1/4" more. Their soloution, add washers or plastic spacers to correct. Currently there are stacks of washers on all 4 corners of access panel to try to align it to clip in place. Why not cut the framing around the opening to proper size and have no washers ??!!

I could go on. It is like this tub was built at a completely different facility and if these are acceptable standards to the whole ISO 9000 designation program, then it is a meaningless approval. I expect more for a grand total of $13,375.00 dollars !!!

The tub we have is a ZENITH CURVE with the luxury package.

Reason of review: Bad quality.
